Our mission and commitment is to provide professional customer service to our citizens, residents and visitors.

RECORDS DIVISION FUNCTIONS

The Records Division is responsible for the clerical duties for the Doraville Police Department.  Their work involves general typing, filing, incoming and outgoing mail, open records requests, answering phone calls and answering questions.  They work to provide other law enforcement agencies and the public with copies of accident and incident reports that are generated by our sworn personnel.  The records division is also responsible for the processing, storage, retrieval and effective management of police reports.

PUBLIC REPORTS

The public and other law enforcement agencies may obtain reports from our office Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding holidays.  Copies of all police reports are $5.00, in the form of cash, money order/cashiers check or company check.  Personal checks and credit cards will not be accepted.  All reports are available within 3 to 5 business days, after the day it was made.
