Rodney Brinkley

Captain Brinkley is currently the Commander of the Uniform Division, where he is charged with the day-to-day patrol and enforcement activities for the department. Captain Brinkley’s tenure in law enforcement spans 32 years of service with the Atlanta Police and Doraville Police Departments. He is a graduate of the University of Phoenix, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. Captain Brinkley is also a graduate of the 40^th class of the Georgia Command College at Columbus State University, where he obtained a Master’s Degree of Public Administration. In addition, Captain Brinkley is a graduate of the prestigious F.B.I. National Academy, Class #255.
