BACKGROUND INVESTIGATIONS

Physical Agility/Ability Test
- All applicants are required to take and achieve a minimum standard on a Physical Agility/Ability Test.
- Applicants will be provided testing instructions during the application process.

Psychological Evaluation
- All applicants are required to take a psychological examination. The psychological is administered by the department’s psychological consultant at no charge to the applicant.

Background Investigation
- A background investigator will conduct a thorough background for all applicants.

Interview Board
- Applicants will be interviewed by a board consisting of those officers involved in the Field Training Process.

Personal Interview
- Applicants will be interviewed by a member of the Command Staff.
CONDITIONAL OFFER OF EMPLOYMENT

Toxicology Examination (Drug Screen)
- All applicants must submit to a toxicology examination by a company selected by the City of Doraville.

Complete Medical Examination
- All applicants must submit to a medical examination.
- There is no charge for this physical.
