Our mission and commitment is to perform accurate background checks on the business employees working within our City to ensure safety to our citizens and visitors.

The Permits Division is responsible for conducting fingerprints, background checks, driver’s history and driver’s license checks on employees who work within the City of Doraville and will require an employee alcohol server permit, a massage/spa establishment work permit, a pawnshop employee permit, a sexually oriented business employee license, or a petroleum permit ID card. Upon completion and passing of the background checks, applicants are issued a picture ID/permit for their business. All backgrounds are maintained and updated on a yearly basis.  Petroleum drivers will need to renew their permit on or before their birthdays every year.
