It is the primary responsibility of the Public Information Officer to ensure the appropriate release of information to the news media in accordance with the law and departmental regulations. The office also serves to assist at the scene of any major incident to handle media activities on site.

GM Redevelopment Updates

GM Redevelopment Updates

Integral-Macauley + Schmit (IMS) underwent a national search for the development’s master planner. IMS selected Perkins Eastman, a New York-based, nationally renowned planning and architecture firm, to design the redevelopment. Planning is expected to take 2-3 months. Once finished, the plan will be submitted to Mayor/ Council for review.
