Two suspects have been charged after the third was fatally shot by a resident during a home invasion early Tuesday in Doraville, police said.
Doraville Police Dept. of Doraville Ga. has been awarded a public safety partnership grant totaling $10,000 from the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (GOHS) in Atlanta.
On December 16, 2011, throughout the day, the Doraville Chick-fil-A on Buford Highway will be donating 20 percent of all sales to the Detective Shane Wilson Memorial Fund - a college fund set up for Detective Wilson’s young son, Liam.
An Atlanta firm recently installed 72 solar panels at the Doraville police station, designed to conserve both money and energy.

On November 14, 2011, at approximately 1:50 in the morning, Doraville Police Dept. received a call of a home invasion in progress.
Officers arrived at the scene promptly and one suspect was taken into custody, while the other suspect fled on foot.
