Doraville Police Department is pleased to announce the dates for the 2010 Junior Citizen’s Police Academy
The 2010 Junior Citizen’s Police Academy will be July 12-16. The session is daily from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Classes are held at the Doraville Police Department Training Center. The Academy is open to ages 13-17 and space is limited.
Students participate in the following activities: Overview of the criminal justice system, physical training of the SWAT team members, tour of the 911 center, crime scene processing and fingerprinting, firearms safety, internet safety, K9 and SWAT demonstrations, mock traffic stops, and much more!
