On November 14, 2011, at approximately 1:50 in the morning, Doraville Police Dept. received a call of a home invasion in progress.
Officers arrived at the scene promptly and one suspect was taken into custody, while the other suspect fled on foot.

A large Mexican drug trafficking organization operating in metro Atlanta has now been dismantled after an indictment and a series of federal arrests. The indictment and arrests were the result of a three year investigation, code-named “Operation G-60,” conducted by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and coordinated through the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) program.
Doraville's Municipal Court has scheduled an amnesty day for people who have past due, unpaid traffic tickets. The amnesty day will from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 30 at Municipal Court 3765 Park Ave., Doraville. Fees for past due citations will be waived, but the original citation fines will be due.
