Criminal Investigations
The investigative units that comprise the department’s Criminal Investigations Section are responsible for the follow-up investigation of crimes committed against persons or property in the City of Doraville which require a degree of specialization or a centralized investigative approach.
Internal Affairs
Internal Affairs is responsible for accepting complaints regarding allegations of misconduct or unlawful activity against departmental employees.
Special Investigations
The Special Investigations Section is an element within the Criminal Investigations Division. Investigators assigned to the Section are focused on a broad range of criminal investigations including high level narcotics trafficking, prostitution, gambling and alcohol violations.
Crime Scene Investigations
The City of Doraville Police Department utilizes the various disciplines of the forensic sciences in order to conduct Crime Scene Investigations and aid in the prosecution of criminal cases.

Subject was an employee of Burger King on Buford Hwy subject left early to deposit two days deposits at the bank and never returned. Total loss $1,757
Jorge Rodriguez
On February 26 2010 Subject threatened bodily harm to several High School students in the McDonalds on Buford Hwy.
Alejandro Garcia
Garcia is wanted for several counts of statutory rape and child molestation. These acts were committed against females under the age of 14
Hyun Kyung Kim
Subject violated a condition of bond when he went to the victim's place of business to harass her.
Shaakira Camile Krasenics
On April 17, 2009 Shaakira Camile Krasenics cashed a counterfeit check in the amount of $6,300.00 at a bank on Buford Highway.
