Doraville Police Department to host criminal street gang seminar
On Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at 6:30pm, the Doraville Police Department will be hosting a criminal street gang seminar for citizens and others wishing to attend. The training will be held at the Detective Hugo Arango Training Center located at the Doraville Police Department, 3750 Park Avenue, Doraville, GA 30340 and will last until approximately 8:00 – 8:30pm.
The seminar will cover fundamental information on nationally known street gangs, while providing detailed information about gangs specific to Doraville, Chamblee, Buford Highway and our surrounding areas.
Persons in attendance will be provided with information and awareness which will allow citizens to recognize the criminal activities associated with gangs. By providing this type of training, we hope to achieve a strong relationship with our community to effectively curtail gang activity.
