The Administrative Division includes: managing the detention center, the vital 911 communications center, as well as the evidence and property section.
The current 911 Communication center was established in June of 2005. This state of the art communications center serves the citizens of Doraville with innovation and professionalism.
The evidence and property section has the responsibility of receiving, storing, releasing and maintaining security for all criminal evidence, stolen and found property, which is recovered within the City of Doraville.
The Doraville detention center is a temporary holding facility. The center has 52 beds and 5 holding cells in the intake area. The facility does not allow visitation. However, inmates are allowed to meet with attorneys.
